The Resource Centre is a local voluntary organisation formed 20 years ago by people living in the Caldicot area.

Benefits Advice

Elaine, the centre manager, has provided Benefits Advice at the Resource Centre for over ten years and is supported by a team of friendly volunteers.

Legal Advice

Local solicitors generously give their time to support legal advice (by appointment).


A team of trained counsellors provide a service for those who need it, two days a week, at the centre.

Caldicot Young Peoples Centre

Young people meet at the centre for a range of activities, supported by Monmouthshire Youth Service Staff.

Who uses the centre

Young people, elderly, carers, mental health service users and lone parents are among the groups which operate at the centre.

Counselling Service: By appointment only

Free Legal Clinic: Wednesday 5.00 - 6.00 or by appointment

Gwent Alcohol Project: By appointment only

General drop-in centre: At any time during opening hours

Caldicot Mental Health Support Group: Mondays 2.00 - 4.00

Caldicot Young Peoples Centre: Monday, Thursday & Sunday 7.00 - 9.00
