CHRISTMAS MARKET SUCCESS
Caldicot enjoyed in biggest Christmas market for years, with its 32 stalls visited by hundreds of people. Festive donkey rides proved particularly popular. On behalf of Caldicot Town Team, Aaron Reekes commented that the profits would help to ensure that more markers would be held in the future.

In what was described as “a massive coup” for the company, the Caldicot Group recovery agents was chosen by Certas Energy, one of the UK’s largest fuel distributors, as its vehicle recovery partner for its 173 tankers in Wales and the West Midlands.
HOUSE PRICE WATCH
The cheapest property advertised on www.rightmove.co.uk for sale in Caldicot at the end of December 2017 was a one bedroom ground floor flat in Grove Gardens at £123,500. The cheapest house was a two bedroom semi-detached in Keats Road, at £172,000. The most expensive was Llanthony Secunda Manor in Church Road, an 800 year old former manor house with five bedrooms.
