SCHOOL EXTENSION PLANNED
Monmouthshire County Council applied for planning permission to extend Castle Park primary school.

HOUSE PRICE WATCH
The cheapest property advertised in the local press for sale in Caldicot at the end of September 2010 was, as in August, a one bedroom flat at The Grove in Church Road at £94,950. The cheapest house was a one bedroom mid-link property in Stafford Road at £104,950. Some indication of the changes in house prices is given by advertised prices for one bedroom link properties in Stafford Road: 127,950 in April 2007 and again in May 2008; £124,950 in August 2008; 114,950 in January-March 2009. The most expensive was, as in August, a detached self-build house with four double bedrooms in Budden Crescent at £314, 950, reduced from £324,950 in August.
