County Council is conducting its own inquiry.

SCHOOL BUS
CHANGE LEADS TO SERVICE CUTS
Stagecoach bus company have stopped operating their service from Gloucester
to Newport via Chepstow and Caerwent, claiming that the loss of income
resulting from Monmouthshire County Council’s decision to run its
own bus service for Caldicot School means that it can no longer afford
to run the service. Another company has taken over the route but on a
restricted basis, creating problems for those who relied upon it to get
to work.
