MAN DIES IN U.S. CRASH

in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr Davies, a former pupil at Caldicot Comprehensive
School, had a successful business career and had been a director of the
Cellnet mobile phone company. He was a keen fan of Elvis Presley and was
on a visit to his birthplace when the accident occurred.
A reunion was held at Caldicot Castle for people who used to live in the
castle itself. The reunion follows extensive research by Mrs Pauline Hayward,
who is coordinating an oral history project collecting memories from people
connected with the castle in the past.
